CGRS collects the following information from registered users:
- Email address
- Phone Number
- Street Address*
- CGRS user ID and password

CGRS Use of Personal Information
CGRS limits access to personal information about registered users to employees who reasonably need to have access to that information to provide resources and other materials responsive to account holders' requests for assistance in asylum representation or research.
CGRS will not use or disclose personal information provided to us except as necessary to respond to requests for litigation or research assistance. We may report on personal information in the aggregate, for example for statistical compilations regarding database users, but only in such a way that identity of a user cannot reasonably be determined. We may also disclose personal information as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant. We will not sell or rent personal information to a third party, and CGRS will take reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The database is protected by modern security standards and user passwords are encrypted inside the database using modern encryption standards.
Privacy Responsibilities of Users
To help protect your privacy, do not share your CGRS user ID or password with anyone else, and log off the CGRS website when you are finished.
