Staff Attorney

Edith advocates for the rights of asylum seekers through strategic litigation and amicus support and provides technical assistance and training to other attorneys representing asylum seekers. Prior to joining CGRS, Edith worked as a staff attorney at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project, where she worked on strategic litigation; as a staff attorney at Make the Road New York, where she represented clients in a range of immigration matters; and as a law clerk for the Honorable Edgardo Ramos of the Southern District of New York. Edith began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at The Door, where she represented young people in SIJS and asylum matters. Before law school, Edith worked as a teacher in the Bay Area.
