The immigration judge granted withholding of removal to a Salvadoran female applicant who fled gang violence. After a prior removal from the United States, she was raped and "claimed" by a gang leader in El Salvador. The asylum office granted asylum to a Salvadoran male unaccompanied child who experienced child abuse at the hands of his father and attempted recruitment by MS-13. The applicant's father also abused his mother and sister. He suffered from seizures, possibly resulting from the child abuse.
