The Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS) is excited to announce our new Expert Witness Resource Library, a curated library of resources to support expert witnesses working on asylum, withholding of removal, and Convention Against Torture claims. The library‘s resources include: sample documents to support collaboration with a legal team, resources on serving as an expert witness, and sample declarations.

Many of the documents in the Expert Witness Resource Library are already available to attorneys through CGRS’s Technical Assistance Library, including CGRS’s Country Conditions Toolkits, sample declarations, and sample direct and cross examination questions.

Expert witnesses – please sign up or log in: The Expert Witness Resource Library is free and accessible to all experts who have an account on CGRS’s website. To create a new CGRS expert witness account, click here. To sign into an existing CGRS account, click here. Once logged in, experts can access the library through the My Account page

Attorneys – please share! We encourage attorneys to direct experts with whom they work to the Expert Witness Resource Library for support.

Contribute resources: CGRS also welcomes all users to recommend resources for inclusion in the Expert Witness Resource Library. Users can submit resources at this link for consideration. We appreciate your contributions!
