Case Summary

The IJ granted CAT protection to a Honduran man who had experienced persecution. In Honduras the applicant operated a car mechanic shop that was next door to a police station. The police wanted him to sell drugs from his shop, and when he refused they extorted him for two months. When the applicant could no longer pay, they violently mutilated him.
