Gender of applicant:

Case Summary

The asylum office granted asylum to a 17 year old boy from Honduras who feared persecution because many of his male family members had be murdered, including his father, brother and three paternal uncles. He also received threats and messages that he would be killed. It seems like the applicant's attorney proposed a family-based PSG. The applicant was not sure who the people who killed his family members were, and the attorney was worried about this issue, but it did not prevent the grant.
