Case Summary

The Kentucky Asylum Office granted asylum to three Honduran minors (two siblings and their cousin). The minors were living with their grandmother who owned a business. Gang members demanded money from the business and, on one occasion, shot the grandmother in front of the minors. Luckily she survived. After the grandmother recovered, they attempted to move but gang members came to the new house and threatened to kidnap and kill the minors if the grandmother would not pay the money they demanded.
