Thank you for helping us celebrate 20 Years of Advocacy!

On September 12 more than 220 friends, family, partners, and supporters joined the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS) in Downtown Oakland to celebrate 20 years of advocacy to advance the fundamental human rights of women, children, LGBTQ individuals, and others fleeing persecution.

A special thank you to our featured speakers, Fauziya Kassindja and Sonia Nazario, who captured the essence of the night in their heartfelt and emotional presentations.

For those of you who were there that night and for those of you who were with us in spirit, we invite you to take a moment and enjoy some images of the evening here.

This evening would not have been possible with out the support of our donors and sponsors. Please join us in thanking:
