Felipe Navarro Lux

Prior to CGRS, Felipe worked at Catholic Charities as a DOJ accredited representative providing direct legal services and conducting outreach among the immigrant community. In this capacity, he represented clients before the Department of Homeland Security in different family-based immigration matters, including provisional unlawful presence waivers. Previously, he also worked at the Center for Justice and Accountability, an organization that identifies and prosecutes serious human rights criminals, supporting cases from different Latin American countries. He received an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University where he concentrated in International Human Rights and International Migration, and an LL.B. from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. A licensed attorney since 2009 in Colombia, Felipe is fluent in Spanish and English.
