Felipe leads CGRS's advocacy for humane and protection-centered U.S. migration policies towards Latin America, as well as the organization's Spanish language public education efforts. 

Prior to joining CGRS, Felipe worked as a Department of Justice accredited representative at Catholic Charities of San Francisco, where he provided direct legal services and conducted outreach and public education among the immigrant community in San Mateo County, California. Previously, he worked at the Center for Justice and Accountability - an organization that identifies and prosecutes serious human rights criminals - supporting cases from different Latin American countries. Before migrating to the United States, he was in-house counsel for one of Colombia's largest television networks.
