Felipe Navarro Lux

Prior to CGRS, Felipe worked at Catholic Charities as a DOJ accredited representative providing direct legal services and conducting outreach among the immigrant community. In this capacity, he represented clients before the Department of Homeland Security in different family-based immigration matters, including provisional unlawful presence waivers. Previously, he worked at the Center for Justice and Accountability, an organization that identifies and prosecutes serious human rights criminals, supporting cases from different Latin American countries. He received a Master's in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University where he focused in International Human Rights and International Migration, and an LL.B. from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Felipe is a licensed attorney in Colombia since 2010, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
