Brianna Krong

Communications and Advocacy Manager 

As Communications and Advocacy Manager, Brianna leads strategic communications and advocacy initiatives to advance the rights of women, children, and LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. Before joining the CGRS team, Brianna worked as an intern at Accountability Counsel to advocate for communities around the world harmed by internationally financed development projects. At Accountability Counsel she conducted factual and policy research on strategic support cases in Kenya and Haiti and assisted in the preparation of civil society comments submitted to the African Development Bank's independent accountability mechanism. As an undergraduate Brianna also interned at CGRS, where she assisted with drafting country conditions reports and tracking case outcomes, and at UC Hastings’ own Center for Worklife Law. Brianna received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace and Justice Studies from Wellesley College.
