Annie Daher

As a Staff Attorney at CGRS, Annie Daher focuses on strategic litigation, research, and policy advocacy to advance the rights of asylum seekers. Annie is a co-author of Refugee Law and Policy: An International and Comparative Approach (5th edition)Prior to joining CGRS, Annie worked as a Staff Attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, where she analyzed and recommended memorandum dispositions in asylum petitions for review, and as an Associate at Keesal, Young & Logan, where she litigated cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts. Annie received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was an Executive Editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review, clerked for the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the United States Department of Justice, and participated in UC Hastings’ Refugee & Human Rights Clinic.  She is admitted to practice in California and speaks Spanish.
