From this page you can search CGRS's summaries of individual gender asylum cases. These are summaries by CGRS of over 300 non-precedent administrative decisions in U.S. asylum cases -- by Asylum Officers, Immigration Judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals -- from over 50 countries. The summaries are drawn from CGRS's off-line database, which has information on over more than 2700 individual gender asylum cases.

Please note that asylum grants are substantially overrepresented among the summarized cases, for a number of reasons -- primarily because attorneys are more likely to report a grant, and are more likely to give us permission to summarize a case only when the case is no longer pending on appeal.
