Summer Law Clerk positions

CGRS hires law clerks each summer; the 2008 application deadline has already passed. See here for application information.

The Refugee and Human Rights Clinic

Students at U.C. Hastings can get credit working with CGRS by enrolling in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic. You can find the application form here. For more information about the clinic follow this link.

Visiting Scholars

CGRS has been priviledged to host visitors from around the world -- attorneys, scholars, adjudicators -- as part of our CGRS Visiting Scholar program. Click here for our application form. For more information contact us by email.

Volunteer Opportunities

Dedicated and motivated volunteers play a key role in CGRS's work to defend women fleeing gender persecution.

While the position varies depending on the skills and interests of each individual, volunteers with CGRS generally take on tasks performing vital human rights / country conditions research, as well as finding expert witnesses. In the past, law students, undergraduate students, and professionals have all volunteered with CGRS. We require volunteers to commit to 10 hours a week, for a minimum of 3-4 months.

To inquire about getting involved, please send your resume by email.
